The Wages of Sin is Death

April 12, 2009

I read Sonala's piece about the level of corruption in Nigeria. My heart bleeds truly, because we seem not to realise that we are on a suicide mission. I am proud to be a Nigerian, but unfortunately I hide sometimes from reality and truth, Why? because I am patriotic. Now the real talk, in America you have the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) and FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), these two organizations bring a lot of sanity into governance in America.

They get to the roots of the matter. What happened to our SSS (State Scurity Service) ICPC, EFCC, Police etc. If they can pefrom like the FBI and IRS, Nigeria will change. We are all tired of seeing, hearing, feeling the crunch and talking everyday, when will there be a peaceful non violent revolution. When will the Civil Service be trimmed and honest people appointed. Tell me where Nigeria's huge resources go to, you know of course, into the nads of corrupt civil servants The level of rot and currpotion in these institutions is unimaginable.

We are all dying in our own land. The professionals cannot survive again. If y7ou dont know somebody, then you cannot work. It is frustrating that many professionals who returned home are not finding things easy. The system is collapsing day by day. Power supply is worse than you can imagine, keeping us guessing whether major importers of Generators and marketers of Diesel grease the elbow, palm, back, face, nose of prime PHCN officials. Nothing is impossible. There is this story that GOD sent the whole world to hell, because of corruption and many immoral practices. Two weeks after Nigerians in hell installed super air conditioners, thereby feeling cool in hell. Well God will help us all.

The struggle continues.
